Care Philosophy
I believe obesity is a chronic disease, not a personal failure, and it deserves compassionate medical treatment. My role is to partner with you, not judge you, and to go with you on your journey. Together, we focus on realistic, sustainable lifestyle changes that improve your overall health.
My care philosophy includes treating obesity as the chronic disease that it is, creating individualized, sustainable care plans, prioritizing prevention and long-term wellness, supporting both physical and mental health, using motivational interviewing to empower you, and providing clear, practical patient education.
My goal is to help you feel supported, informed and confident in your health journey.
Personal Statement
When I’m not working with patients, I spend time with my husband, our two young children and our two dogs. We love staying active — swimming, hiking and exploring the outdoors whenever we can. Each year, we aim to visit at least two national parks. In our house, cheering for the Green Bay Packers is practically a tradition.

Stephanie is amazing!! The way she explains how the medication works, and the side effects was very understandable. Bright, warm smile. She listens intently, and actually cares about who she is talking to. My wife and I both see her and are very happy with this decision!

I was told to go online to set up an appointment after I attended an in-person orientation even though the Lifestyle Center was upstairs. This didn't seem like a very customer friendly way to get started.

Stephanie Becken is a God send. Truly. She is one of the rare practitioners that actually cares for her patients on every level of care. Her open, welcoming and nurturing nature makes a patient feel comfortable and important. I'm so glad I have been introduced to her and her care team. They have all been absolutely amazing.

The receptionist and Stephanie Becken are the BEST!!! I love using lifestyle medicine - it has changed my life to the better!
