All very professional and courteous

Lots of different professional people working with me showing great care. My only disappointment was not being seen asap unless I went to the emergency room. There was a great deal of concern - but the concern will continue in 5 days. That certainly had me wondering that possibly it wasn't as serious as it sounded. Five days later it went back to being very serious. As a patient, what should I expect? When scheduling an appointment with referral, I was told I would be seen in a month - I questioned why and then was told 5 days wait. Maybe scheduling needs help. Stat!

My chart doesn't show all my information. Dr. Rafn is a very knowledgeable and patient doctor. Listens and explains so I could understand. Very thorough.

Since I first met Dr. Rafn with a heart condition I have found him to be a kind and hard working ally. He explained my condition and potential treatment in terms that I could understand. He went to work and after two tries he convinced Medicare to pay for the treatment. Then he got me to Mayo where the surgery occurred. Dr. Rafn has provided me with equally professional and personal aftercare. I live a vigorous senior male life because Dr. Rafn discovered my condition and then treated it and me with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I recommend him to anyone that talks to me about their heart conditions.
