I understand that a hemorrhoidectemy is an uncomfortable though necessary proceedure. With that in mind, I think that the entire process from initial evaluation to the post op exam at Bellin Marinette has been the best possible experience for the circumstances. Thank you.

I don't appreciate getting texts telling me my appointment is at 1:45pm when my actual appointment is at 2pm. I got there at least 15 minutes before my "appointment" just to make sure I was on time. Then I realize you told me my appointment was 15 minutes earlier than it actually was. I'm an adult, I can get to my appointments on time without being tricked into an earlier time.

The provider did not speak with me after the procedure, only my husband who didn't ask any follow up or clarify questions, so I didn't really get some important questions answered untill I got home and had to call the nurses line. Also, I was sent home covered in the orange pre op stuff, my whole torso upper pelvic region, my torso binder was covered in it and I ended up with a bad rash that required me to take a steroid. Also, my binder was way too wide for my torso and I had to cut a whole panel off it. Other than those things the team was very professional and respectful and I felt safe and taken care of.

The Bellin Surgical team is top notch from the receptionists, NP Mary and Dr. Ough. My surgery was explained prior to the surgery including all the variables that could arise when the actual surgery was performed. I would highly recommend Dr. Ough and the Bellin surgical team for needed surgery.

With a slight exception to pre-op consultation the service provided by Bellin staff was very good.

Mary Heise is a Rock Star. She explains everything in an easy to understand way and is just a very relatable person.
