Katie Rettler and staff were excellent!

First time seeing Katie Rettler and she was extremely prepared for my visit. She was knowledgeable in all of the details of my recent hospitalizations and cardiac history. She displayed breadth of knowledge and confidence in her field of expertise. Regarding the check in process...granted, I am a retired IT professional, but it is utterly annoying to have to take two steps to enter first name, then toggle to last name. And, isn't IT way beyond the user having to press arrows to the next screen? It's a very inefficient check in process.

Katie Rettler is the first person at Emplify that actually listened to me about a problem I've been having. She scheduled a CT scan and had blood labs done. She ordered a swab to see if/what is causing a chronic cough I have. But apparently you don't do that? Katie was very good. I'm beginning to see that your name. "Emplify" doesn't really describe your organization.

The person who scheduled my original appt told me they didn't have a waiting list if someone should cancel an appt. Was very excited to get in 4 weeks earlier than scheduled. Katie is an AMAZING NP and I love working with her. She is thorough and so understanding and actually listens to what a patient has to say. She's easy to speak with and doesn't have a negative thing to say about anything, it seems. Wish there were more NPs in this world like her. Now, to make sure scheduling understands that if someone cancels an appt, it's possible to reschedule another patient to fill that time slot.

I have nothing but love for the heart doctors and nurses, the ICU team, and everyone else at Bellin! They kept me alive through my 2 heart attacks and sixtuple bypass surgery and I will forever be thankful.
