If you ask the doctor a question, it's another bill

Dr. Gast is not my regular doctor. He looked at my chart before I got into his office to see what other visits I might have had in the last 6 to 8 months. I thought that was amazing! He listened to me and took time with me. He wasn't looking at the 15 minute clock for a visit like this. He also told me how to read the actual notes that he was putting in the system, which no doctor has ever showed me or talked about before. I am very pleased with my decision to try to get in and see him since my primary care physician was not available for an appointment until September.

Seemed unnecessary to have to complete my chart sign ins three times. Very repetitive. Once for blood draw, once for nurse visit & once for doctor visit. Why?

Every time I visit, the location in the building has changed. I waited 15 minutes in the wrong area, waiting for a receptionist to be off the phone to speak to. There was no ability to check in with the app, email, or text as I do in other locations. The temporary signage at the door blended in and didn't draw attention when entering, and I was looking for fixed signage. It was a frustrating experience until I was finally directed to the correct location. I would not have made my appointment if I hadn't arrived as early as I did. In addition, the MyChart app and website are a significant downgrade from MyBellin. I am unable to schedule what I need at the locations needed. This was not a problem with MyBellin.

I felt Doctor Gast and his nurse were very personal and professional. I felt they listened to my questions and concerns and cared about what I had to say.

Dr gast has been my Dr over 20+ years if I had to guess. Everyone has come and gone. My parents have died. Because of my mental issues, friends and family are estranged . Some moved away. Some providers retired. I just lost touch with people. He has been the only constant person in my life. The only constant support. I am thankful for him, a little embarrassed of that, but thankful. He might not realize that the 15-30 minutes he spends with people mean more to them then he thinks

My experience with Dr Gast and his team went very well as usual. I wish that there was an easier solution to the check in process. All of the questions to be answered get to be a real process.

I keep getting notifications because I have outstanding tasks which are lab work but my appointment to get the lab work isn't scheduled till the end of the month I can't do anything about my outstanding tasks

Had my provider for the past 20+ years and I always appreciate his openness and honesty and caregiving as far as what he would recommend. Is always encouraging mammograms and colonoscopies and expressed to him that I do like a yearly pap and he is always on that as I've had previous conditions. He is very easy to talk to and if you need clarification. He is definitely a great person to elaborate. So grateful to have him as a provider

Very pleasant experience. Actually enjoyed my day. Everyone treated me as a person and not just a number. I was treated with kindness and respect by Dr, nurse, techs, and staff. I felt like they listened to me and that they spoke with me and not at me. Dr Gast took the time to listen and made me feel like I was speaking with a friend, but a very knowledgeable one.
