Care Philosophy
With a creative and holistic approach, I evaluate patients with neurologic, orthopedic, rheumatologic and painful conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My aim is to improve the health of each patient by gaining a good understanding of their impairments, treatment plan and the road to recovery. I practice with the goal of enhancing physical functioning to improve quality of life and help maintain independence.
Personal Statement:
In addition to spending time with my wife and two young sons, I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing and traveling.

Yes, I'd like to state that my appointment took way too long to see the doctor. I have no problem with what the procedure was, but I needed an injection and I just had my leg amputated and I had to wait weeks to get the injection to get me some relief. And that was way too long, absolutely too long. Other than that, everything was fine. That's all I have to say.

The time from consultant this week until possible relief treatment is more than 1 month out. That was disappointing.

Dr. Knapp was a fantastic doctor. I feel that he really listened to me and met me where I was at. I felt like I was heard and that my problems were understood and identified and that there was a great discussion around multiple different options of care for me. I really appreciated the time that he took to listen to me and the open conversations that we had regarding my health care. I'm very excited that I am a patient of Dr. Knapp. Thank you.
