Helen Wellens is a board certified nurse practitioner who believes in meeting patients and families where they are making and eliciting their goals so we can support their reaching them.  Communication and education are key components of her practice.  She supports people through a focus on physical, practical, and spiritual needs.  Needs change over time, so an ongoing relationship is important to Helen.  She works in communication with the patient's primary and specialty physicians to coordinate care.
